From the workshop

Since 2022 I have been at the lathe: a piece of wood, a sharp tool and time. It is how I balance the screen work.

Why woodturning?

All day I automate processes. At the lathe it is the other way round: every piece is made by hand, every grain is different, and no piece turns out exactly the same twice.

I turn bowls, candle holders and bottle openers, preferably from local wood: fruit trees, ash, maple and walnut. Shaving by shaving, a rough block becomes something you can hold and use.

A piece for you?

I do not sell my work, but I am happy to turn something for you. Maybe a bowl from the wood of your old apple tree? Get in touch.
